Tabitha Makes A Sweet Donation To The Ark

Tabitha Purslow from Shrewsbury Sixth Form College decided she wanted to celebrate her 18th Birthday by helping those in need in her local community. She organised a party at the Wightman Theatre and instead of asking for presents she asked for donations to the Ark, she also sold sweets on the night and put out cash donation buckets, raising a grand total of £500. LOCAL SCHOOL CHILDREN COOK UP A RECIPE TO HELP THE SHREWSBURY ARK

Children from The Wilfred Owen School, Monkmoor, Shrewsbury are raising money to publish a Fairtrade cookbook that will be sold to raise money for the Shrewsbury Ark. The children from Grinshill class decided to raise funds for the Shrewsbury Ark, having heard about how the drop-in centre was making a huge difference to the local homeless community in our town. Monks and Shrewsbury College Raise Over £1,700 at the Shrewsbury Winter Festival

A HUGE thank you to team Monks and Shrewsbury College catering students, who raised a whopping £1,725.13 for the Ark at this year's Shrewsbury Winter Festival.
