The Ark AGM for 2023 took place at 32 Castle Foregate on 29th June at 6.30pm.
It was well attended by Ark trustees, volunteers, colleagues from partner organisations and local supporters.
Alongside regular AGM business, Terry Warburton from the newly established RESET team gave a facinating talk about how this new multi-disciplinary team, is working in the Ark to help improve outcomes for those suffering from addiction and are homeless or at risk of being homeless, in our county.
Treasurer, Jane Shaw, gave an overview of the charity's financial status and
Day Centre Manager Gerry Crow talked through current statistics, reporting on the numbers of clients we are supporting and the services that we are offering.
Emily Bell Chair of Trustees gave a speech about what "success" looks like for different members of the Ark's community.
We would like to thank Rashers Cafe in Shrewsbury for their generous support of the AGM by providing sandwiches and our volunteers for once again coming through some fantastic home bakes!
We would also like to thank and warmly welcome our new Clerks to Trustees, Laura Nelson and Gemma Lomas for their help with this year's AGM.
Attached are the minutes, accounts, day centre statistics and copies of the Chair and Treasurer's reports for information.
